Venatu Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver on behalf of our client based in the DN16 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking FLT Driver looking to secure ongoing night shift work with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful FLT Driver must hold a valid, in-date Counterbalance licence. A Reach Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
As an FLT Driver, you will play a key role within the warehouse operation, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently throughout the site while maintaining excellent health and safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking, moving, and transferring stock across the warehouse
- Carrying out stock replenishment duties
- Completing daily pre-shift FLT safety checks
- Reporting any faults or damages to equipment immediately
- Assisting with general warehouse duties where required
- Adhering strictly to all company health and safety procedures and MHE operating guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous experience working as an FLT Driver
- Reach Truck licence desirable but not essential
- Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
