Overview:
Are you creative, fun, energetic & have a passion for working with children? Then why not join our friendly Jellybeans team as a Play worker creating a safe & engaging environment for them to play & learn.
Duties:
- Organise & supervise play activities for children aged 4-13 years
- Communicate with effectively with children, parents & colleagues
- Implement activities that promote learning & development including holiday programmes
- Provide support & assistance to children when needed
- Help maintain the safety & cleanliness of the play area
- Help prepare breakfast & after school snacks
- Work as part of a team to create a positive environment
- Term-time hours will be a minimum of 16 hours per week (breakfast & after school club)
- Holiday club hours will be a minimum of 30 hours per week (club open 7.30am-6pm)
Experience:
- Previous childcare experience preferred, but not essential as training can be provided
- Minimum age for applicant is 18 years old
- Current DBS, Safeguarding & Paediatric First Aid certificate preferred, but not essential
- FULL DRIVING LICENCE & USE OF OWN VEHICLE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION AS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRANSPORT CHILDREN
