About the role
We are seeking to recruit a Front of House Supervisor to support the launch of a brand-new high volume restaurant serving 150 + guests per service, within a luxurious spa setting. Launching in July 2026 within the 560‑acre Silverlake Estate in Dorset, Firefly is a new 150‑cover restaurant designed around seasonal produce, bold flavours, and a confident, contemporary gastro style.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in bringing the concept to life—supporting the creation of a seamless, high-quality service environment from day one. You will lead from the floor, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and embedding high service standards within the team.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will be instrumental in driving a calm, premium atmosphere that reflects the wider wellness environment, ensuring every guest experience is memorable, consistent, and delivered with attention to detail
This role will be working onsite, 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 as per a rota with flexible shifts available to suit.
The salary is £28.932.80 per annum plus TRONC.

What you’ll be doing:
· Support the Food & Beverage Manager in managing smooth day-to-day service across the venue, including set-up, service, and close-down
· Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service, maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout shift
· Monitor guest flow, service timing, and team deployment to ensure efficient and effective operations
· Act as a hands-on leader on the floor, supporting team members and maintaining service momentum
· Deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager when required, confidently running shifts and Deliver excellent guest service at all times, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and responding to guest queries promptly
· Create a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere aligned with a luxury spa environment
· Handle guest feedback and complaints quickly and professionally, resolving issues in a calm and solution-focused manner
· Maintain strong product knowledge of menus, specials, and allergen information to support guest needs
· Train, support, and coach team members to deliver consistently high service standards
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, table presentation, and service readiness across all areas
· Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including coffee (Barista trained)
· Assist with stock management, including restocking, rotation, and monitoring levels
· Follow and enforce compliance with food safety, allergen procedures, hygiene, and licensing regulations
We’d love you to have:
· Proven experience in a Front of House supervisory role within hospitality
· Experience managing teams, rotas, and service delivery
· Strong customer service and complaint resolution skills
· Experience with stock control and inventory management
· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements
· Barista training / coffee knowledge
