An established and progressive automotive retail group is seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team at its Cribbs Causeway site.
The dealership represents 2 quality manufacturers—renowned for innovation, reliability, and driver-focused design.
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving a thriving used car operation with a significant annual throughput. The successful candidate will be entrusted with maximising profitability, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of operational control.
The Role
- Overseeing a team of eight Sales Executives, the Used Car Sales Manager will:
- Lead from the front, inspiring a culture of energy, accountability, and consistent performance
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentorship, and structured development to elevate individual and team capability
- Take full ownership of the used vehicle operation, including stock management, pricing strategy, and margin performance
- Drive finance and insurance penetration, as well as product upsell opportunities, ensuring best-in-class customer value
- Maintain strong process discipline and compliance, ensuring seamless customer journeys from enquiry to handover
- Analyse performance data to identify opportunities and continuously improve results
