We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Forklift Driver/Warehouse operative to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our yard area. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness of the yard by removing litter and debris.
- Support loading and unloading of vehicles using a fork lift truck.
- Report any issues or hazards to the office promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the yard.
- Book stock in/out when required
- Picking freight using load lists
- General maintenance of the buildings/cabins
- Work safely around the vehicles and hazardous freight that we transport
- Confident in using handheld scanner to scan pallets
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to perform manual tasks and lift items as needed.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards safety in the workplace.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hours would ideally be 11am-7pm with potential overtime available.
In addition to the Hourly rate, we also offer bonus'.
The successful candidate must have their own transport as there are no public transport links to the yard.
