Are you a commercial property professional looking to maximise financial value while driving positive social impact? Valleys to Coast Housing is seeking a dynamic Commercial and Partnerships Officer to take ownership of our diverse non-residential asset portfolio, including commercial shops, garages, and community buildings. In this pivotal role, you will blend commercial acumen with community purpose, ensuring our assets are well-maintained, fully occupied, and delivering maximum value. Acting as a vital operational link, you will also provide critical viability oversight on our residential stock and champion data-driven accountability with our subsidiary partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Viability & Stock Oversight: Support the residential portfolio by conducting financial viability reviews, identifying underperforming assets, and preparing data-driven recommendations for acquisitions or disposals.
Portfolio Management: Oversee commercial shops, garages, and community buildings to maximise income, manage lease renewals, and reduce management costs.
Commercial Governance: Maintain absolute financial transparency and operational excellence through open-book accounting and rigorous monthly performance reviews with subsidiary partners.
Sustainability & Decarbonisation: Monitor our Solar PV portfolio, track EPC ratings, and implement Green Lease Clauses to meet statutory energy-efficiency standards.
What We Are Looking For:
Property Expertise: Proven experience in commercial property lease management, rent collection, and arrears management.
Analytical Mindset: The ability to interpret statistical data, manage financial budgets, and prioritise conflicting workloads to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications: Educated to 'A' Level (or equivalent), an understanding of ESG principles, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Pay: £37,716.00 per year
