This is a complex care role associated with spinal injury.
The package is delivered on week A & B pattern:
Week A: Wednesday & Thursday 0800-1400
Week B: Friday & Saturday & Sunday: 0800-1400
About the role
You will work as part of a team to support a woman with her daily routine, safety and personal care needs. The role requires a high level of professionalism and communicational skills. You will be expected to build good rapport, trust, maintain professional boundaries, follow support plans and risk assessments, and work closely with family members and professionals where required.
Duties may include providing support with daily living, safeguarding, observation, documentation and promoting the individual’s independence and quality of life.
What we are looking for
We are seeking applicants who are compassionate, dependable and emotionally resilient, with a genuine commitment to person-centred care, more specifically - complex care. Experience supporting people with spinal injury would be advantageous but full bespoke training and shadow shifts are provided.
Applicants should be able to:
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Follow care plans, behaviour support plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
- Remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to incidents
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records and handovers

Essential requirements
Successful applicants will be expected to meet safer recruitment and compliance requirements appropriate to care work. This may include:
- Enhanced DBS check, including the appropriate workforce and barred list checks where the role is eligible
- Satisfactory references
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Suitability to work with children and/or adults at risk, depending on the final package arrangement and legal eligibility for checks
- Willingness to complete mandatory training, including safeguarding, moving and handling, medication awareness, health and safety, infection prevention and control, and positive behaviour support
