We pride ourselves on our "calm in the storm" culture. While we can service up to 90 covers during peak periods in a compact kitchen, we maintain a friendly, supportive, and relaxed atmosphere. The Role
As Head Chef, you will be the heartbeat of our kitchen. You’ll be responsible for everything from the perfect traditional English breakfast to elevated British classics and seasonal specials.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Excellence: Leading the line during busy services, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Menu Innovation: Developing creative, seasonal menus that celebrate traditional British cuisine.
- Baking: Producing high-quality baked goods for our on-site shop.
- Kitchen Management: Managing stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and minimize waste.
- Leadership: Working collaboratively with our small, close-knit team to maintain an efficient, well-run kitchen.
- Compliance: Maintaining meticulous records and upholding our 5-star Environmental Health standards.
