We are a growing commercial solar installation company delivering renewable energy projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in being punctual and organised, and is willing to support warehouse operations when not on the road.
The Role
You will be responsible for transporting equipment and materials to project sites throughout the UK. Depending on operational requirements, you will drive either a company car or a Luton van.
When not undertaking driving duties, you will assist our warehouse team at our facility in Cheshunt, helping to ensure materials and equipment are prepared and organised for upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Nationwide delivery and collection of materials, tools, and equipment
- Driving company vehicles safely and professionally
- Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness of vehicles
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Supporting warehouse operations in Cheshunt
- Stock handling and organisation
- Preparing materials for site teams
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Must live within approximately 20 minutes of Royston
