As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Upholsterer to join our passionate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Upholster high-end bespoke furniture pieces including sofas, chairs, headboards, and ottomans
- Interpret design specifications, patterns, and templates
- Strip and rebuild furniture frames, apply padding, webbing, springs, and fabric coverings
- Sew fabric, leather, and other materials with precision and consistency
- Collaborate with designers and production staff to ensure final product meets quality and design expectations
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Assist with occasional on-site installations or client visits as needed
Requirements
- Minimum [5-10] years of professional upholstery experience, preferably in a luxury or custom furniture setting
- Experience in both traditional and modern upholstery techniques
- Proficiency in working with various fabrics, leathers, foams, and frames
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings, patterns, or verbal instructions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship
- Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude
