We are an Ofsted Outstanding, highly regarded, busy private Day Nursery with a full waiting list - owned and managed by Jayne White for over 30 years. Open 50 weeks of the year from 8am – 6pm.
We are looking to recruit an efficient, friendly and motivated candidate to join our meal time assistant team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a light tea for the children and you must be able to work under your own direction (full training will be given)
Monday - Friday (inc) 3.30pm - 5.30/6.00pm (all year round) possible job share considered
Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is essential
Roles and responsibilities include:
· Unloading the dishwasher and prepare crockery etc for each nursery room
· Prepare/serve the tea for all rooms ensuring children with allergies are identified (depending on the menu)
· Load the dishwasher and wash up any remaining items.
· Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy and everything is returned to the fridge/freezer as necessary.
This job involves working with children and is subject to an enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to employment.
