About the role
You will be a committed, energetic HLTA who supports high-quality teaching and learning across the school. The post involves delivering PPA cover and other class cover as required, working across year groups and with small groups and individuals to secure learning progress and support wellbeing.
The role is four days per week, Tuesday to Friday.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
- Ability to operate at a level of understanding and competence equivalent to NVQ Level 4 standard
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- HLTA Status.
First Aid/Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

Essential Experience
- Experience of working with children, including those with EHCPs and a range of SEND, in a primary setting.
- Experience of working in a primary classroom environment and following the EYFS/National Curriculum.
- Providing class cover/PPA.
- Planning lessons/sequences of lessons.
- Use of a range of assessment methods to help children to progress.
Providing medical/care support to those with SEND needs.

Desirable Experience
- Experience in working within a support base/provision room to meet the needs of pupils.
- Experience in using personalised curriculum targets to set provision.
- Lunchtime welfare/play supervision
