Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Operative to join our production team in Portadown.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems to specification, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience or a strong interest in electrical assembly and manufacturing.
Pay rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm
Duties:
- Assemble electrical components, wiring, and sub-assemblies following technical drawings and instructions
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform basic testing and inspection of assembled units to ensure functionality and quality standards
- Identify and report faults or inconsistencies in components or processes
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or a similar role preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
