Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to high standards
- Ensure waste disposal is managed efficiently and bins are emptied regularly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their cleaning requirements
Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in English for effective communication
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients and staff
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and work collaboratively with team members
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between sites but not essential
- Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided
