Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FOH Supervisor to oversee front-of-house operations within our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food service environments. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food presentation and ensure proper food preparation standards are maintained
- Assist with food service, including serving guests when necessary, and support team members during busy periods
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Lead staff training sessions on service procedures, food safety protocols, and hospitality best practices
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive team environment
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist in inventory management for front-of-house supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in team management and leadership roles in restaurants or hotels
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and hospitality standards
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen experience is advantageous
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is desirable but not essential
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Pay: £12.21-£14.89 per hour
