Duties
- Follow work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble products.
- Use hand and power tools to fit and install parts and subassemblies.
- Connect wires, cables, and components accurately.
- Perform quality checks and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Operate cranes or forklifts to move larger parts.
- Keep your work area clean and organised, and help monitor stock levels.
Desired Education and Background
- Educated to GCSE minimum level
- Some experience in a hands-on or mechanical role
- Comfortable using hand tools and able to lift up to 25kg.
- Able to follow instructions, read diagrams or technical drawings.
- Good basic maths and communication skills.
- Experience with hydraulic systems is a bonus, but not required.
