Danny Sullivan Group are currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor to work on a long-term rail infrastructure project based at Plymouth.
The Role as a CPCS Crane / Lift Supervisor:

Supervising and coordinating all lifting operations in line with approved lift plans

Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with railway standards

Briefing crane operators, slingers, and other lifting personnel prior to operations
-
Maintaining full control of lifting operations and stopping work if unsafe conditions arise

Ensuring compliance with PTS (Personal Track Safety) requirements at all times

Liaising with site management, engineers, and other trades to coordinate lifting activities
-
Verifying that all lifting equipment is certified, inspected, and fit for purpose

Monitoring weather and site conditions to ensure safe lifting operations
-
Maintaining clear communication with all members of the lifting team

Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures

Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, or near misses

Valid CPCS A62 Crane / Lift Supervisor ticket (essential)

Proven experience supervising lifting operations

Strong understanding of lift plans, risk assessments, and method statements

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong commitment to Health & Safety

Ability to work as part of a team and make decisive decisions

Reliable and punctual

Competitive hourly rate £21.50 (PAYE)
