We are seeking a versatile Front of House Server to join our team on an initially part-time basis. The primary focus of this role is delivering exceptional table service, but the ideal candidate must be adaptable and willing to perform bartending duties as operational demands require. Candidates possessing existing bartending skills will be given strong preference. Your ability to manage time effectively across both the dining floor and the bar while maintaining hospitality and safety standards is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and responding to guest needs promptly.
- Transition efficiently between floor service and the bar area to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during peak hours or as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, as well as the bar, including equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol serving practices across all areas.
- Monitor inventory levels for both floor and bar supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
- Uphold a positive and efficient atmosphere by fostering a collaborative environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting as a server or waiter/waitress.
- Demonstrated willingness to perform cross-functional bar duties; existing bartending skills are a significant advantage.
- Understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle busy periods seamlessly across different stations.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Availability to fulfill part-time scheduling requirements at the commencement of employment.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
