HGV class 1 drivers urgently required – Immediate starts!
A&F Haulage Ltd are a family-owned company with over 30 years of success in the logistics and distribution industry. We operate across a number of markets including aggregate and stone distribution and supply, general haulage and retail chilled distribution.
Due to experiencing increased business and an expansion in our retail distribution division we are currently looking for HGV class 1 day and night trunk drivers. The work is all day or night shifts working across a ‘5 out of 7’ rota. Our transport division operates 7 days a week and this role will add additional support to the team. The details are as follows:
· HGV class 1 licence essential
· Retail distribution experience is preferred but not essential
· Day or night shifts from our Bolton depot
· Delivering to supermarkets and RDC’s nationwide
· Mainly trunking work – Minimal handball
· Excellent pay – ‘take home’ pay of £140 to £150 per shift
· Equivalent to annual salary C£40 - £45k basic plus overtime
· Full PPE provided
· Immediate starts subject to an informal interview in Bolton and licence checks
· No DD, DR or IN10, licence infringements accepted
