Simply Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within a well-established secondary school in Crewe. Key Responsibilities – Teaching Assistant Role:
- Support students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
- Support students with varying learning needs, including SEND and behavioural support.
- Encourage student engagement and assist with completing set work.
- Adapt to different subjects and classroom settings across the school day.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, childcare, or school-based roles).
- A supportive and patient approach to student learning and behaviour.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across different subjects and year groups.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people’s academic and personal development.
- Relevant qualifications or educational experience (preferred but not essential).
