Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. To clean our 5 B&B rooms as well as the downstairs bar/restaurant areas and toilets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service delivery. Prior experience in cleaning work is preferred.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- utilise commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and emptying waste bins.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure continuous availability.
- Adhere to client-specific cleaning protocols
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout the shift.
