Summer Temporary Domestic & Office Cleaner (Flexible Weekday Hours, 9–4) – Preston
DC Clean Group Ltd is looking for a reliable, experienced cleaner to join us on a summer temporary contract starting in July, covering team holidays. This role offers flexible weekday hours between 9am and 4pm, with a mix of days and shifts depending on business needs. For the right candidate, this position may lead to a permanent role in September.
About the Role
You’ll work independently, visiting domestic and office clients to keep their spaces clean and well‑maintained. Training is provided, but previous cleaning experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial cleaning in offices and small business settings
- Domestic cleaning for weekly, fortnightly, and ad‑hoc clients
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
- Dusting, wiping, and sanitising surfaces
- Cleaning restrooms
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Replenishing cleaning supplies
- Following all cleaning and safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Ability to obtain a DBS check
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive work ethic
- Physically able to reach skirting boards, move light furniture, and carry equipment
- Previous domestic cleaning experience
- Must live locally to Preston
- Available for flexible weekday shifts between 9am–4pm, with varying days and hours as needed
Pay & Benefits
- £13.21 per hour
- 5.6 weeks’ holiday (pro‑rata)
