Looking for someone to join the team at Pet Priorities. This position will be a maternity cover with potential to become a full time position for the right person.
Pet Priorities is a Pet Service business which was established in 2013. It is a fully Licensed and Insured pet care business dedicated to giving pets the best possible care and treatment.
The main service is dog walking. We collect clients dogs and take them for as long as the client requires (generally 30 minutes or 1 hour), either in an appropriate groups or individually for an enjoyable and fun walk! We offer secondary services such as pet sitting and home visits. Experience with horses is a bonus, but not essential.
As an employee of Pet Priorities some of the jobs you will be required to do include:
- Walk dogs individually
- Drive a work van and collect a group of dogs and walk them.
- Carry out home visits – not only for dogs, but for any other pets
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Managing your time efficiently
- Have a good attention to detail

We require someone who is friendly, committed, reliable, dedicated, motivated, good fitness, flexible and has a passion for animals. An enthusiastic and dynamic individual, with a friendly manner,, good initiative and good communication skills!
In so far as you will be working with a number of elderly and vulnerable clients a full DBS check may be required.
You will be required to travel to our base between Bolney and Cowfold. Each day there will be a list of your work routine, which will vary. Vans are provided. You must therefore have a full UK clean driving licence which you have held for 1 year and live locally.
The job will be 5 days per week. Working hours would be 13:30 – 16:00. Start time and end time can be a bit flexible.
There may also be occasions where you are required to start earlier and/or finish later. Due to the nature of the job you are required to be flexible.
