An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious engineer to join a leading local heating, refrigeration and building maintenance services provider.
With focus on growing the business from its current solid base you will be developed as a key member of the team.
We are looking for a full or part qualified gas/refrigeration/heating & plumbing/ air conditioning engineer to join our long established local business. We are seeking a qualified individual who would like to broaden their skills and take on training.
You should have some experience of working in the area of air conditioning or domestic/commercial heating/building services maintenance. With the drive to want to take new challenges, learn new skills and obtain further qualifications. The work we do and our clients are varied and no two days are ever the same. Most of our clients are local and so working away from home is very limited.
In addition to joining a friendly well established team you will be provided with a company van and mobile phone. You will also have the opportunity to join the company pension scheme.
Experience in electrical works, plumbing and building services maintenance is also advantageous.
You must be technically minded, able to work on our own initiative and have experience of on-site problem solving. A “can-do” attitude with the willingness to get involved in any task is essential.
We offer an emergency call our service to our customers therefore inclusion within the call out rota is mandatory.
To be considered for the role it is advantageous that you hold or are working towards either gas safety qualifications or City & Guilds FGas certification along with a full driving licence (this is a mobile role based from our Worcester office).
For the right candidate we offer a competitive salary working a 39 hour week, overtime is available paid at a premium rate, 5 weeks paid holiday plus bank holidays, Company Van, mobile phone, company pension and contribution towards travelling time (over 45 minutes per day).
