We are currently recruiting for a Compound Coordinator to join our team at our Volkswagen Van Centre in Birmingham. Reporting into the Head of Business you delivery and preparation of new vehicles.
This is a hands on role where you’ll be on your feet moving vehicles around the compound, planning deliveries/drivers for the day, completing delivery paperwork and completing local drop-off jobs in the area.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
- Liaising with the Sales Manager
- Fuelling vehicles
- Delivering new vehicles to customers
- Completion of delivery paperwork
- Road testing vehicles
- Preparing the compound for drop offs and deliveries
- Coordinating and prioritising deliveries
- For this role we require applicants to have a full UK driving licence and experience of driving vehicles of all different sizes, including; manual, automatic and performance vehicles.
- You should enjoy working as part of team and be able to communicate easily and provide a polite and friendly service to our customers.
