Corr Recruitment are working with a well-established client located in Andover. Our client is recruiting for a Forklift/General operative to join their fast-growing team.
Overview:
To assist with the day-to-day running of Machines, including Goods in and Goods out.
Rotating shifts:
Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00
Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery
- Loading and unloading materials from the machine
- Goods inward documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock using a warehouse management system
- Ensuring the Manufacturing Manager is informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering
- Assist with continual stock checks to ensure stock level accuracy
- Organising the dispatch of finished goods and products
- Drive, unload, and load using the company forklift when required
- Manual handling, lifting and carrying heavy items
- Following all health and safety guidelines
Required Skills:
- Excellent time management
- Previous warehouse experience
- Forklift Licence
- Proactive, team player with consideration of others
- Ability to work on their own when required
- High attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Positive 'Can do' attitude with the ability to be flexible, hardworking
