Start Date: 9th June 2026
End Date: 7th July 2026
Duration: 5 Weeks (5 Sessions Total)
Salary: £35 per session + Travel Expenses (if applicable)
```Responsibilities```
- Provide STEM workshop sessions to up to 15 students in a classroom environment.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses and develop personalized learning plans and techniques better suited to them as you progress.
- Help students with difficult steps and provide clear instructions to complete projects.
- Maintain good relationships with parents and teachers while working.
- Prepare each lesson briefly at home beforehand, using the resources supplied.
- Familiarise yourself with any health / fire & safety protocols of the schools you work in.
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a tutoring or educational setting
- Strong knowledge in the subjects you will be tutoring.
- Familiarity with special education practices and techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain concepts and engage students
- Patience and empathy to work with students of all ages and abilities
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 weeks
Pay: £35.00 per hour
