Awans is a fast-paced street food business serving authentic homemade curries, snacks, and freshly prepared food at markets and events. We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable team members who enjoy working with people and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders and handle cash/card payments.
- Refill food displays and keep the serving area stocked.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Assist with setting up and packing down the market stall.
- Work efficiently during busy trading periods.
- Follow food safety and health & hygiene procedures.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Previous hospitality or food service experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
