Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Female Community Carer (Domiciliary Driver) to join our team in Garstang. This vital role involves providing compassionate in-home care to our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while supporting their independence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality home care assistance tailored to each client's needs.
- Safely transport clients to appointments and activities.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and report on clients' health status.
- Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease with patience and understanding.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient care or home support roles.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Knowledge of first aid and medication administration is preferred.
- Experience working with elderly or dementia patients is advantageous.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional care.
