About the Role
Steyning Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and detail‑focused Data Quality Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a key role within the practice, responsible for processing clinical correspondence, coding patient records accurately, and supporting QOF, LTCs and income‑related activity.
Whether you are developing your skills in primary care or already experienced, we offer a clear progression framework, full training, and the opportunity to grow into a specialist role.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow processing and accurate coding of clinical letters
- Data input into patient clinical records usingSystmOne
- Supporting QOF, LTCs and vaccination income areas
- Actioning tasks, questionnaires and recall activity
- Booking clinics and supporting vaccination programmes
- Maintaining high standards of data quality, confidentiality and compliance
- Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
Responsibilities and expectations increase with experience, supported by a structured development pathway.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Commitment to confidentiality and data protection
Desirable
- Experience in a GP practice, NHS or healthcare setting
- Experience using SystmOne
- Understanding of workflow processing, coding or QOF
- Willingness to develop into a specialist role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
