About the Role
We are seeking a part time friendly, professional, and motivated Qualified GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our busy and supportive dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated dental nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing chairside support to dentists/Therapists during a range of dental procedures.
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Ensuring all instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised, and maintained appropriately.
- Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment, helping them feel comfortable and reassured.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and patient documentation.
- Assisting with stock control and ordering of dental materials and supplies.
- Complying with all GDC, CQC, HTM 01-05, and practice policies and procedures.
- Supporting reception duties when required, including appointment management and patient enquiries.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognised dental nursing qualification.
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, professional, and patient-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cross-infection control and safeguarding procedures.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with dental software systems.
- Experience working within a mixed NHS/private practice environment.

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (required)
- Dental Nursing: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Valid GDC registration (required)
