The Role:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our busy Wadhurst team. This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same, and you will play a key part in delivering excellent service to our customers.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked on a rota basis (including a range of shifts).
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly, efficient, and professional customer service at all times
- Operating tills and handling transactions accurately
- Assisting customers with queries, purchases, and general support
- Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves are well presented and fully stocked
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the store
- Supporting other departments as required to ensure smooth store operations
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
About You
- A positive, approachable attitude with a strong focus on customer service
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to work a variety of shifts
- Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential
