Part-Time Housekeeper Required – Esher, Surrey
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Housekeeper in Esher, Surrey, to join a lovely young family in their beautiful home.
The family are seeking a dedicated, proactive and highly organised Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a home to an exceptional standard. This is a long-term position offering approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around how the hours are worked.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, understand the importance of discretion and attention to detail, and be confident caring for a home independently.
A genuine love of dogs is essential, as the family have a small dog, and a driver would be preferred due to the location and occasional errands.
- Full housekeeping and cleaning to an exceptionally high standard
- Daily upkeep and presentation of the home
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Bed making and changing linen
- Care of delicate surfaces, fabrics and furnishings
- Using the correct cleaning products and methods for different materials and finishes
- Organising cupboards, storage areas and household spaces
- Running household errands and shopping
- Managing household supplies and replenishing stock
- Simple family cooking and meal preparation (desirable)
- Coordinating dry cleaning and other household services as required
- Caring for the family’s small dog when needed
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- Previous private household housekeeping experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of cleaning and organisation
- Trustworthy, reliable and discreet
- Positive, friendly and professional manner
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable working in a family home
- Dog friendly
- Driver preferred
Location: Esher, Surrey
Role: Part-Time Housekeeper
Hours: 15–20 hours per week (flexible)
Salary: £20–£25 per hour depending on experience
