This Portsmouth based School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Technology Teacher to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Food Technology, Design Technology and Computing within a nurturing specialist setting supporting pupils aged 7–16. We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire young people, adapt learning to meet individual needs and create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
About the Role
You will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Food Technology, DT and Computing
- Support pupils with a range of learning and additional needs
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual support strategies
- Work closely with colleagues, therapists and external professionals
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour throughout the school
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has experience teaching across Key Stages 2–4
- Has strong subject knowledge in Technology subjects
- Can confidently differentiate learning for pupils with varying needs
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is resilient, flexible and passionate about helping young people succeed
Experience within a SEND or specialist provision is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £32,000.00-£51,000.00 per day
