Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. We would be looking for someone who has experience in working with children aged birth -5 years in an early years setting. You will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that encourages children's development and learning.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children within the nursery through the EYFS.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Work as part of a team to create a warm and nurturing environment for all children.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards.
- Drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences through creative play and exploration.
- Build strong relationships with children, ensuring their emotional well-being is supported.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in childcare settings, demonstrating the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Ability to engage with children through play-based learning methods.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.
