An opportunity has arisen to join the Student Support Team at Selby High School as an Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA). We are looking for somebody with the commitment and skills to support students with their learning whatever their needs and starting points. The successful candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work, and may be looking to further their career within education. The role involves supporting the SENCO and teaching staff with ensuring all students, including those with Special Educational Needs, make progress, and will involve supervising small groups and individual students with their learning.
We offer extensive training opportunities for our support staff, which may lead to other employment within the school.
