Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools. This role is essential in producing high-quality metal components and assemblies, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding
- Fabricate components from sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication or welding process.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of MIG welding techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is crucial for interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
