Job Overview
Goldline Events is looking for a part-time Participant and Admin Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our runners and ensure they have the best experience ever. Reporting to the Participant and Community Lead you’ll support the wider team and play a key role behind the scenes.
Working across two mass-participation events you’ll get hands on experience and learn what goes into organising two of the country’s longest standing half marathons. Operating in a fast paced and rapidly expanding industry – this role would suit someone who is looking for a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with a fantastic portfolio of events.
What you must have
- A good grasp of what makes a great customer experience.
- Super organised with excellent attention to detail.
- High level of IT competency - must have strong computer skills incl. excel, word and power point.
- Quick learner with a keenness to get stuck in.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Honesty, enthusiasm, commitment, self-motivation and professional.
- A passion for seeing results.
- Prepared to travel to various areas around the country as often as is required.
- A team player who is comfortable working alone.
- Ability to manage your own workload and use your own initiative.
- Capable of working in various locations for a minimum of 5 days during each event.
What we’d like
- A minimum of two years’ customer focused experience.
- A keen interest in all things running.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to events and meetings.
What you’d be responsible for
- Managing the events email Inbox and telephone, you will be the first point of contact for runner queries, transfers and entry amendments.
- Liaising with business, organisations and charities to arrange group entries and bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of entry numbers incl. daily entries, car parking, T-shirts etc.
- Supporting the wider team in administrative tasks.
