Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Classic Car Mechanic to join our specialised workshop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with a particular interest in vintage and classic automobiles. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of iconic vehicles, applying expert knowledge in maintenance, repair, and restoration. Candidates must be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service, ensuring each vehicle is restored to its original splendour.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Repairing and maintaining classic cars, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and modifications
- Assembling parts and components with precision to meet manufacturer specifications
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, , and fluid checks
- Troubleshooting equipment and performing repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance .
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and quality assurance protocols
- Be able to work on various cars from the 70s 80s and 90s experience of models from that era ideal.
- Basic knowledge of Paint spraying would be an advantage.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic specialising in classic or vintage vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive schematics and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Excellent understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and equipment repair techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and restoration .
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are preferred
