Restaurant Manager
MCG Recruitment Consultants are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join a fast-paced and growing hospitality business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in busy restaurant environments and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences while developing high-performing teams.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional standards across customer service, team leadership, operational performance, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members
- Lead by example to create a positive and energetic working environment
- Motivate the team to consistently deliver high standards of service
Customer Experience
- Deliver a welcoming and engaging experience for all guests
- Manage busy service periods efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards
- Handle customer feedback professionally and proactively
Operational Management
- Ensure smooth daily operations across front and back of house
- Monitor service times and maintain operational efficiency
- Resolve issues quickly and effectively to minimise disruption
Financial & Commercial Performance
- Support sales growth and profitability
- Monitor labour costs and operational expenditure
- Maintain strong control over stock and ordering processes
Stock & Compliance
- Manage stock levels, deliveries, and supplier relationships
- Ensure health & safety and food hygiene standards are maintained at all times
Team Development
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Support employee progression and ongoing development within the business

- Have previous restaurant management experience within a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Are confident leading large teams and managing busy services
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Thrive under pressure and maintain high standards consistently
- Are commercially aware and operationally strong
