Care Assistant required 33 HOURS PER WEEK. FOR DAYS OR NIGHTS (TWO POSITIONS OPEN)
Both full and part time positions available
Days Working alternate weekends.
Above National Minimum Wage Supporting individuals in a care home setting in regards to personal care and daily living support tasks. Liaising with professionals and document visits accordingly Using online care planning software to document all assistance provided.
Full training to be given.
DBS will be refunded after 3 months of working for Cedar House Care Home
Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of clients. Core skills in personal care and communication are vital, while your premium skills in driving and familiarity with care plans will enhance service delivery. Your proficiency in English and IT will facilitate effective interaction and documentation, making you a valuable asset in our commitment to high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to develop and implement care plans
- Familiarity with home care practices and care home environments
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation needs
- Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
