Powering the Journey of Every Dose!
Join Target Healthcare Group, a pioneering pharmaceutical developer and manufacturer dedicated to innovation and saving lives.
As part of our Group, Quantum Pharmaceutical is the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of unlicensed medicines and hard-to-source products. With over 500 professionals across various disciplines—including pharmacists, technicians, IT, HR, procurement, warehouse, and customer service—we are one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in the UK.
Behind every life-saving medicine is a team that ensures it gets where it’s needed – safely, securely and on time. In line with our growth, we are looking to add a Despatch Operator to play a critical role in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Responsibilities:
· Manage daily despatch operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely distribution of aseptically compounded medicines
· Package and despatch products using the CATO system, ensuring correct labelling, storage, and handling in line with GDP/GMP requirements
· Book and coordinate courier collections and deliveries using the approved booking system
· Support stock replenishment and transfers into the Aseptic Facility, following bio‑burden reduction processes
· Assist with stock control activities, including routine stock counts
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the despatch area in line with cleaning schedules
· Comply with all relevant SOPs, company policies, GMP/GDP standards, and documentation requirements
· Maintain up‑to‑date training and actively contribute to continuous improvement and team support
What we are looking for:
· Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, logistics, or manufacturing (GDP/GMP experience desirable but not essential)
· A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling, packaging, and despatching medicines
· Confidence using computer systems for despatch, stock control, and documentation (experience with CATO or similar systems is an advantage)
· A strong understanding of compliance, quality, and the importance of following SOPs and procedures
· Good organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment
· A proactive, reliable team player with a positive “can‑do” attitude
· Willingness to undertake training and develop skills within a GDP/GMP‑controlled environment
· Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards at all times
