About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner / Void Property Operative to join a busy housing association team working across the Burnley area.
This is a hands-on role carrying out joinery repairs and maintenance work within void residential properties, ensuring homes are completed to a high standard and ready for new tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- General joinery repairs and maintenance within void properties
- Repairs to windows, doors, flooring, glazing, handrails, fencing and kitchens
- Carrying out property repairs to a high standard
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Working independently to meet turnaround targets
Essential Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Joinery
- Previous experience within joinery, property maintenance or void properties
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Reliable and punctual attitude
Desirable
- Previous experience working within social housing or housing associations
- Full UK driving licence
Pay: £12.71 per hour
