Warehouse Assistant
The rewards
- £28,000 per year, based on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Hours
- Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)
The role of Warehouse Assistant:
- Receive goods and count stock, recording deliveries using SAP (training provided)
- Raise any issues with stock items
- Stock take items accurately
- Pick and pack orders for customers, booking orders out using SAP
- Booking shipment of orders
- General maintenance of warehouse and offices
- Ensure all duties are conducted within health and safety guidelines
- Key holder responsibilities
- Conduct deliveries to select customers using company vehicle
- Keep warehouse and work area clean and tidy
- Cleaning of machines using power washer
The ideal Warehouse Assistant:
- Fit and healthy, able to lift 25kg
- Punctual
- Computer literate — Word, Excel, Outlook
- Full driving licence (essential)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Able to work with minimal supervision as directed by the warehouse manager
