Opus Vitae are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious client located in Ellesmere.
This position is a hands-on role which plays a vital role in ensuring reliability, efficiency & the safety of heavy machinery industrial machinery in a production environment.
You will need to have previous electrical maintenance experience for this role.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on sawmill and heavy industrial equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
- Support breakdown response to minimise downtime and maintain production targets
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and improvement of machinery and system
- Maintain accurate maintenance records & documentation
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a heavy industrial environment (sawmill, timber, manufacturing, quarrying, or similar)
- Strong electrical background
- Good working knowledge of electrical PLC systems
- Ability to fault-find and repair industrial machinery
- Experience working in a fast-paced production setting
