Warehouse Operative
£13.67 per hour | Temporary to Ongoing | Immediate Start Available
Nu Staff are recruiting for skilled warehouse operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Bedwas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with valid forklift licences who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants a stable, long-term role.
You’ll be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, and assisting with assembly and goods movement.
Hours of Work (3-Shift Rotation):
- Mornings: 6:00AM – 2:00PM
- Afternoons: 2:00PM – 10:00PM
- Nights: 10:00PM – 6:00AM
Pay Rate:
£13.67 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse
- Organise and maintain stock, ensuring correct storage and handling
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Assist with loading/unloading lorries
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to keep operations running smoothly
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance, Reach, and Bendi forklift licences
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills
- Good teamwork and problem-solving abilities
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Location:
Bedwas – must be able to commute reliably
