Weatherproofing Advisors is a national Roofing, Cladding and Scaffolding company with locations in Glasgow, Newcastle, Merseyside, London and Bristol. We are currently recruiting for the following position:
1 Contracts Manager for our Bristol Office based in the Taunton Area
Job description
- Monitor costs and overall budget performance on all contracts
- Preparation and monitoring of project costs at handover stage.
- Attend Internal Contracts Meetings
- Negotiate with suppliers, sub contractors, and service providers to ensure best value
- Deliver agreed service centre margins and profitability target
- Prepare Health and Safety documentation in line with WPA arrangements for Health and Safety, ensuring contracts are carried out safely and WPA standards are met
- Ensure that service reviews are being carried out by Operatives and Contracts Supervisors
- Utilise WPA portal for recording of site activity, progress, documentation
- Communicate positively with client representatives
Knowledge and Experience
- SMSTS Qualified
- Roofing knowledge and experience across all systems (preferred but not essential)
- Commercial awareness of budgets and programme delivery
- Contracts management experience
- Using various systems and materials
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and site set-up
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong organisation skills is a must
