What You Need to Succeed
Harlands Primary School is looking to recruit an individual for a dual TA/HLTA, for five days per week, term time only, from September 2026. This will be for an initial one year fixed term contract to July 2027 due to accommodating a bulge class, but with the possibility of becoming permanent thereafter.
The role will include some HLTA duties which will be paid at Grade 8, £32,597-£35,412 (£16.89 to £18.36 pro rata)
Role Purpose
We are seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic and experienced individual to join our vibrant school community. This is a flexible role that will support learning in class, involve work with children needing additional support (including on a 1:1 basis) and require confidence covering classes across the school. The successful candidate will need to understand and model our core values of Responsibility, Optimism, Confidence, Kindness, Critical Thinking, and Respect playing their part in sustaining our inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The hours of work for all our TA/HLTAs are normally between 8.20am-3.20pm and will include lunchtime duties. A 30 minute break is allowed for your own lunch, with the timing of this depending upon the needs of the school.
