Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of manual tasks across construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, trimming, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- Supporting construction activities such as digging, lifting, and material handling
- Using mechanical knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot equipment like excavators and irrigation systems
- Assisting with site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation
- Supporting team members with various labour-intensive duties across different project sites
Skills
- Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction or gardening equipment
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening implements
- Ability to operate or learn how to operate an excavator or other heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic maintenance procedures
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks in outdoor environments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
