About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead large-scale Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) programmes across social housing portfolios. You will ensure compliance, manage high-volume testing and remedial works, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of EICR programmes (inspection, testing, reporting, remedials)
- Plan labour, materials, and access to meet KPIs and deadlines
- Lead teams of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Monitor EICR results (C1, C2, C3, FI) and ensure timely remedial works
- Ensure accurate certification and reporting via client systems
- Act as main client contact, attending meetings and resolving issues
- Track performance (completion rates, access, customer satisfaction)
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and conduct audits
- Manage budgets, variations, and Schedule of Rates (SOR)
- Support tendering and mobilisation of new contracts
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing large-scale EICR programmes
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical compliance
- Experience interpreting EICR codes and managing remedial works
- Knowledge of UK H&S legislation (Electricity at Work Regulations)
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience
- IT proficient (Microsoft Office, compliance systems)
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable: NICEIC, NAPIT, or similar accreditation

Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
